When select cooling tower fills, we need to consider the requirements of separation process, usually including the following aspects:
(1) Higher mass transfer efficiency. In general, the mass transfer of structured cooling tower packing efficiency is higher than that of bulk packing. 
(2) Larger flux. On the premise of guarantee with high mass transfer efficiency, should choose to have higher flooding point gas velocity and gas phase kinetic energy factor of packing.
(3) packing layer of lower pressure drop.
(4) the packing is strong in anti fouling, tear open outfit, easy maintenance.
